Eversince "my" digital camera Canon Ixus 500 passed away :) Nah.. the camera got slightly rosak, and the shopboy said it wud cost MYR200 to repair ( without guarantee )  I just couldnt buy it cuz I know it will be such a waste of money. So I plan to buy a new one. Later.. birthday gift! So what I have in mind is Canon Ixus 130 ( with fish eye effect.. yey! at last, lomo stuff for commercial camera ) and it comes with a nice metallic purple pink color which is so cool. And its not that pricey..

I went around and check it out.. it really slim and rounded edge. But one thing I hate about this camera is that it is too automatic. No manual function.. if not mistaken... I am still checking it out.

So the other "competitor" would be Nikon Coolpix P100. 10 megapixels, semi pro, built in auto function ( lotsa scenes to select) and I personally tested it at Nikon Showroom, Berjaya Times Square, for the macro snap, the result was awesome.  The price is still affordable. Around MYR1500 at Nikon shop, could be lesser at other camera shop. One lady offered me MYR1300, but I need to wait for stock to come and my "money". Anyway today I got home in Bentong and I shared this with my dad. My dad was into photography and a good person I could refer to. He asked me to go to Nikon website and compared the product, he asked me to select Nikon D3000. That was dslr camera. Sheesssh...  I dun want slr camera... I dunno how to operate it! And I always made fun of people carrying slr camera around their neck and walked around the town, then, I'd be one of them? Huhuhu

D3000 and P100 different by MYR500. Which is still affordable.. but I dun want slr camera.. I know I will not use it as much.. I am not a techy person.. even I dun think I would use a smart phone.. :D So an slr camera is so not me. Coolpix P100 is still semi and right for people like me. Who is always in between.. :D

Cant wait anyway =) So sick n tired snapping with handphone and webcam and my mom's camera..
