Since my last 4-days weekend, I have been hooked up with my old time pc game, The Sims 2. I know its old school :) but I am always a fan. Since The Sims 1 anyway, was playing it during the 2nd year in my degree days. Those were the days.
Anyway, I have couple of families in my current games. Only decided to add a new couple in The Ville. I chose a Capricorn guy and a Gemini girl. Those were roomies. Before I created them, I was looking for the match from the astrology
Of course, I am a quick reader. When I saw some good points (in bold) I created them and built a very lovely home for them. A nice pinky girly room for the Gemini Girl, a massive bed for the Capricorn Guy and a small room for his artsy stuff. It was real nice.
But, being a sloppiness playful Gemini, the girl was avoid a serious relationship and sharing nothing in common with the Capricorn Guy. The friendship didnt improved and one day, the Gemini Girl found some bloke ( was actually the neighbor across the street and they got married. Nevertheless, the Gemini Girl still called the Capricorn Guy once a while ( and have the intention to Woo Hoo with 3 different guy at the same time ) Yikes!!!
Anyway, the Capricorn Guy was so looking forward to have a family and suddenly got to know this chubby girl called Aimee from the Boyd family. ( Aimee was my alter ego, teen girl and had a bro called Brandon Boyd. Go Figure!) She was actually dating Daniel from the Johns family and was a bit interested in the Capricorn Guy. But the Sims 2 limited the relationship for just teens and just adult, so the relationship didnt built up.
One day, li'l Aimee began to be an adult and since the day, the Capricorn Guy tried his best to get to Aimee's heart and she finally moved in with him. Anuther 2, 3 days together, they got married!! Aimee got a very nice hairdo and the best dress one Sims would ever have.
Hmm... this could be amongst the last day playing the Sims 2 since I got the The Sims 3 on the way. Ahh... and I just checked, Aimee was a gemini anyway. =) So its not a zodiac match, its the chemistry. :)

Oh, to be a fly on the wall with this first date -- if they hold to type, Gemini chats non-stop through the evening, with stony-faced Capricorn revealing very little. Capricorn will look for the substance, something that tells of Gemini's goals and values. Gemini thinks Capricorn a bit serious, always leading the discussion back to their career. Their badly matched mindsets leads to more than just awkward conversations -- both feel that the other is on a different wavelength. If the dating goes on beyond this point, there are likely other compatible planets at play.
Gemini's non-linear style may be threatening to Capricorn's need for order. Both are witty and could find common ground on what's absurd about life. Gemini brings Capricorn out of their remote cave-self, and gets them sharing ideas. Capricorn can be a wordly advisor to Gemini, helping them channel their gifts in tangible ways.
But the personality clash in this pairing goes deeper, with Capricorn a traditionalist at heart, and Gemini the freespirit. The Goat plans for the future, while the Twins live for the moment. Capricorn sees nothing to build on in the changeable outlook and lifestyle of Gemini. If a relationship takes hold, Capricorn can fall into the authority figure role, with Gemini the unruly child. With balancing elements, Gemini finds an anchor in Capricorn's stable nature. Capricorn's world is blown open by Gemini's curiosity-seeking nature, opening them up to all kinds of culture and excitement.
The Capricorn that wants marriage and family life tries to get Gemini to settle down, which scares the latter away. If things go wrong, these two are cold exes, since neither clings too tightly to memories of romance. But the vast gulf between these two makes it a relationship full of growth potential, for as long as it lasts.
