Small Personal Review

from me to Incubus.

On the newest album called..
" if not now, when? "

1st word : OLD!

Hahahahaha

2nd and more suitable vocabs : Incubus musical revolution.

But : Adolescent is not very far from the previous songs. It is still Incubus. Brandon Boyd can still scream. Obviously.

New tones of his voice appeared in The Original and Friends n Lovers. More organ and piano this time, Thanks DJ Kilmore. The other music arrangement I love most is from Friends n Lovers and In the Company of Wolves. This one, the wolves song is like the 2nd Aqueous Transmission. Well maybe they are at the same par in terms of melodies and musical arrangement, but different story lines make them unique and very interesting.

Its not hard to fall in love with this album. Especially for someone who loves Incubus for their music, not cuz others listen to them or the trend influence. Personally I think that's keep the Incubus around.

And the Boyd admitted that too.

my b-Boyd song : Promises, Promises ( this one reminds me of the songs in The Wild Trapeze and U2's)
