The Friday Night Melodrama

I was thinking about this post last Friday but since I was pretty occupied I didn't got the chance write it down. Back from KLCC, I was busy doing laundry and stuff since starting next Monday we will start the water schedule. Yes it's been very dry season here. With hazy and shallow river everywhere. Even for Sungai Pahang.  Devastated. As devastated as my social life. You see when Zai moved to Japan I was really indeed alone. Well, if she is here she will be quite occupied as well but I know we could make some time. Basically I don't have much friends to hang out with .. Pretty sad.  So other than goin out with my sister, Nana or othe cousins like Ika and Ida. Just recently tried to hang out with Ida which was so awkward cuz I was alone with her and the husband and the kids. But it was okay! When Adam got cranky and bored, papa Ijat would take him to the playground and left Aiman and Ida and me! So we got the time to gossip! Aiman pretended to be interested. Lol.  Since ...

My Java Trip 2014 Finale part 2

Lol sorry about the part 1 and 2, and who knows it might go to part 3. I was on leave today and been sleeping all day! Fat pig!  Let's just continue with the travel blog.  When I read the itenerary on the Surabaya tour, I imagine Batu town is a small quiet town like Cameron Highlands. But I was wrong, like usual. It is small, but I don't know.. It is never quiet in Java. Every And is occupied.  This is the hotel we spent the night in Batu. Very spacious .. We even had day bed outside the room.  Beautiful scenery. Mount Arjuna  Stupid blogger application and iOS so called multitasker :( my whole 1 hour blog draft disappeared ! So I'm gonna put all the pictures and guess when I'd do the edit.  Stupid stupid blogger! No I can't do this anymore. I'm goin to have my shower. I'm so dissapointed.  Okay sorry for the drama. Continue with the travel blog!  Batu is a wisata town. Means it is developing for the tourism. The weather in Batu is a bit cold and ...

My Java Trip 2014 Finale part 1

Yes let's do this! Since tomorrow I'd be on leave and it passed my bedtime, thanks to espressolab macchiato, I am obviously very very fresh like 6:30 am. So back to Surabaya, after sight seeing around Bromo, we headed back to hotel, showered and packed our stuff, really felt like a nomad. We then drove to Batu, passing by Malang. Had lunch at Malang.. Again the Java dish.. Ok! About 2pm we arrived in Taman Safari Prigen. That was the 2nd safari park in Indonesia, but the largest. The first was in Bogor, West Java. I never know about this safari until my aunt who was back from Surabaya told me about this. I was thrilled. I was like I know I'd never get to Africa for safari, so this is the closest. Well not even close, you know. But okay la.. I still surprised to see how near we were to the animal! And I got to see my lovely lovely cutest llamas.  Alpaca is next! Peru, jom! At the entrance, we all wore blue! 1st animal was llamas! Very tame!! So cuteeeeeee we didn't get t...

My Java Trip 2014 Part 3

Arrived in Surabaya we were greeted by our tour guide and the driver. The tour guide, Pak Yono looked younger than Pak Daniel in Jogja. Dad automatically clicked with Pak Yono. He loves talking about they city, the administration and the current political scene. I found him very polite and quite balance. He didnt give his opinion extremely. There were humble.  So from the train station, around 15 mins driving, we had our lunch at local restaurant. Restoran Ria Galleria. Had Java style rice again... Rice everyday! But I limit my rice intake for like 1 - 2 scoops per time. Lol. Still fat :p Me and the best kopi es I had during the trip. Owh, the satay was so niceeeee! So from Surabaya, we headed to Bromo. Around 3 - 5 hours journey. Luckily this trip, the traffic was smooth. Didn't see much macet like last time in West Java.  The tour guide suggested us to stop by Tanggulanggin for a little shopping. We went to leather shop and local tailor cuz mom wanted to get some Jubah. Didn...
