li'l bit of this, li'l bit of that

Seriously I have no idea on what to blog.. seems like there is a lot to tell but I wasnt inspired enough. Until I loged on my blogger account and saw this new blogger template.. Neat!!!

So, gotta try it.

Sunny days in Bandung.

As planned many months ago, I joined my family and our other extended family members, Cik Jah's family and Achik's family for a weekend off to Bandung. Ma had asked me to go to Bandung with her many times ago but I always declined. I dont really appreciate a vacation in a busy city unless I really keen to shop there. Like Bangkok.. or Tokyo.. or yea, NY.

But this time, I just couldnt say no since Babah agreed to sponsor us all and its just hard to say No. I told my sis this would be the last time. I didnt really interested to 'get away' with aunties n uncles. Especially Achik's. And anyway, since Wan passed away I was kinda look forward to this trip cuz I thought that we could get bond together and all... Moreover, during Wan's stays in the Hosp, I had good times with my cousin. Mainly AJ and Zalikha.

me and Zalikha @LCCT
So, the trip was 4d3n. Since it was Indonesian's school holidays, we happened to lose the hotel we booked before.. I have no idea about that. The travel agency was lousy. Very Very lousy.. I think I could be a better travel organizer. So we stayed at this hotel, the suburb area.. far from town ( and the outlet stores ) and it was macet ( traffic jam -- we learn when we was in Bali )  all the time. Gila lah... I think if I stay in Bandung I might get high blood pressure everyday!

Rumah Makan Sederhana - Nasi Padang for 1st nite Dinner

The flight was delayed 30 mins and the touch down was a bit shaky. It was terrifying, Babah said it was an old plane. I guess so. But the Bandung Airport was even worse. There was only 2 immigration counters. Imagine!!! And the airport was so small, KL sentral is even bigger that it. Its kinda funny cuz I heard many people came to Bandung each year yet the airport was so small to occupy the imagination.

Around 8 pm ( local time ) went to have dinner - Nasi Padang. Not really into Nasi Padang cuz overdosed with Nasi Padang Garuda & Puti Bungsu few times this year. Just ate the food cuz too hungry.. Skipped lunch earlier.

Arifah posed near the massive pool. No time to dive in.
The 1st day was scheduled to visit the infamous Kangtuban Perahu -- the volcano place. I just love the journey to get there... I dunno but I just love the surrounding of vegetables farms and the small village. yeah Sure, that was so much better than the Sting Garden downtown.

nice right?
i alwiz thought pumpkins are on the ground?

So we arrived at Kangtuban Perahu with a very nice smell of sulphur. Yes, very very nice. Somebody might fart and be happy about it.

the cousins!

so, volcano mud? hehe no we cant go down cuz of the poison gas

this one looks like in Oversea hahaha

There was so many sellers and they will follow you and never give up, some of them were really pushy. It is annoying but to think that they did that to get some money for the family I almost wanted to buy something from them. But luckily I didnt, cuz my Uncle bought one and more sellers came to him. And it really killed the mood to enjoy the scenery.

local stores

kampung Daun for Lunch. nicest!

Went to Kampung Daun for lunch. Sundanese style I think... better though. Like it more than Nasi Padang. The food was really nice, we had ikan bakar, bebek goreng, sup buntut and need to say more, the chili was awesome. I didnt get the chance to snap the food pictures cuz the camera was with somebody else and too bad he was so sucks with it.

Arifah who followed me around became my cam model.

Ikan bakar with sambal kicap yg enak sekali

the Menu. Sila datang..
Kampung Daun is really nice, cant imagine how it looks like at nite.. surely romantic n stuff but if you dont choose to eat in the pondok, to go to the restaurant is a bit further up. Might make the eldest tired n all.

@ Java Bean Coffee Shop, Rumah Mode.

nice coffee and nice art stuff behind me :D
never had red meat this much : Iga Rica Rica
I got Marc Jacobs bag @ Riau!! Yay!!!!
Back from the lunch place, I dunnot what district it was, we were back to Bandung town for a little shopping. First stop was Riau, no time to get into all the stores.. were rushingly shop like on Amazing Race. No time at Mena's Department at all. Then we got into the traffic jam again and arrive at Rumah Mode around 7++. This time I got more time to shop, but still all the clothes I checked in at the counter and the bill didnt hit 1 mill Rupiah. Sheeshhh.. I thought I got overly budget.. Again this time no time to Men's Department.

For dinner, the food available at Rumah Mode.. there were coffee shops, italian food shop, local food and bakery. I had a nice classic ice coffee from Java Bean ( owh i miss this place already!!! ) and a rice dish Iga Rica Rica. Too much red meat... tooo much...

Ada Apa Dengan Cinta

If you know my story, or if this blog still has the original entries, you sure do know that how excited I'd be with the second part of this movie. Yes as per the title. Of cuz it was related with my old man. The ex. Not that we used to go to a movie and watched it together, it was my fave even before I met him. Then when we were met, I shared to him all of my fave things. Including this, also the song Tentang Seseorang which I played in the background of our phone conversation in the wee hours. I have no idea when it became his favorite as well. But I know when he started to call me Cinta. Just like the main cast name. Just Lyke the movie, our relationship suddenly ended. I had hard times trying to forget him. Attempting to accept a new guy in my heart was really hard, and moving on?? He was indeed, my first love. And just like the movie too, we had our second chances. And toward the end, I really believe that, that was love. I was in love, he loves me. That was the closure

Emotion Sickness

I finally asked my bff a random question ive been shooting other bff to. Lol So I confessed that I have been stalking my ex- soulmate instagram account. I mean how wouldnt i do it? I was already lost n depressed. I thought it wont affect me. Indeed, it did. Fucking hard. But seeing his chubby yet high cheekbones put a smile on my face. You know the feeling when somebody who used to make you happy and hurt on the same time, its twisted yes, but im so glad i am happy seeing him happy! Even my bff agreed he has a nice life. Good job, pretty wife and cutest couple of baby girls. Yes im happy. I never seen my life having all that. Maybe thats the reason. I love you anyways. :) This is the last emotional entry I'll try
